It's been dropping just below 60F here at night. I don't mind at all, definitely a cold weather person. There's a certain pleasure derived from pulling on a layer of wool and gritting defiance at the weather! Heat on the other hand is just merciless, there's nothing you can do about it after you've already shed as much clothing as is socially acceptable.

60F at night? Wow, that's warm.
Right now in Ontario, our nights are about 3 or 4 degrees Celsius, that's about 38F. Starting to get a little nippy. At your guys temperature, I'd still be wearing shorts and a T-shirt, and maybe lose the T-shirt because it'd be a little warm!
Back on the East Coast of Canada where I grew up, our winters were in the temperature range of -30 to as low as -48 Celsius one winter; that's -22 to -54F for you guys.
C'mon up and we'll do Polar Bear Dip this winter! You know what that is? We all go down to the Bay of Fundy in the coldest part of th winter, bust a hole in the ice, strip down, and dive into the icy ocean water for a few minutes, come out, dry off, and then get liqoured up! You interested? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

We get to -50 every year here where I live sometimes for months at a time. It is great training because it takes so much extra energy just to stand still and not freeze to death plus you need lots of the right clothing. I got pretty good at living in the cold when younger. I hitch hiked to BC one winter and had to spend the night under a trailer in Prince George at about -15 in a thin sleeping bag. I covered myself with snow and then used my breath to fill the bag with hot air. A few times I have had to dig myself out of the snow in the morning. I much prefer the cold to the heat. It was +38 yesterday(not sure what that is in American). Today was much nicer though.

Haha, I wasn't saying that 60F is cold, I was saying that it's refreshing to be moving out of summer heat. :P 60F is pretty nice. It usually only gets down to the low negatives here, crisp enough to have fun with the cold but not so much that it starts to become hazardous to one's health. Though we do have wind sometimes. Coldest I've ever been out, it was near your -54F once you factored in the wind chill... Didn't really enjoy that.

Don't have an AD yet myself, but if I got one, I'd probably get that blue/black handle. Don't know why I like it, but I do.
