the $20 it costs to have someone else do it is so worth it. major stuff's expensive, so i usually do that at home.

Plus when I pick up synthetic oil on sale, I can do an oil change in my truck for less than what those joints charge for regular oil.

I dunno what you guys do, but we put magnets on the end of our oil drain plugs. That way any loose metal particles will get stuck to it and can be removed when changing the oil. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
