I have fallen for this thing so many times on 'the other sight' and always got a kick out of it...

I was convinced this was real because I just spent the cash I had saved for my dogfather on a rat M6. I know, but it was to good a deal to pass up 100$ canadian.
I figured I would have at least 2 weeks to scrounge up another c note before the Dan lets the dogs out. Then I saw this thread and $H!t my pants. So I may be the only one who is praying for Dan to take a couple days off and relax before the insanity of the bowie.

Not quite 38$ anymore because everytime the price of oil goes up so does our dollar. It is about 90% of an US dollar. It is still an awesome deal and he even included shipping but I am going to send him an extra 10$ just because it feels like the right thing to do to pay for my own shipping. Now if I can just get my grimey little hands on a Dogfather I will have all the Busse steels, INFI,SR101
and S7. Expect a comparison review of all the different steels. I almost did not take it ,first I tried to talk him out of selling it that cheap because he is a nice guy but he still wanted to(thank you god)and then I considered not buying it because if the Dogfather came out today I could not afford it. We have a really nice community of knife nuts at CGN (canadian gun nutz)edged tools and weapons forum which is where I first heard of the yard.

Nope just a nice guy who wants it to go to someone who will get some use out of it and write a review. I must have some really good karma because Leatherface is sending me a free sheath, a great guy from CGN sent me a bunch of kevlar for knife expirements and my antizombie armour and now I get a 100$ M6. I am definitly going to try to pass on my good fortune. For example I will show off my new SS4 sheath from Leatherface to anyone who will listen and if it gets here in time I will
sneak it into the review of the SS4 I am writing. I don't know what I am going to do for KrausB for the M6 unless the guy needs a kidney.

speakin of the flood, i just registered so i don't have to worry about that after they hit the store. seein as the store will probably crash i'll do my part to reduce traffic. anyway, anyone get a confirmation e-mail when they registered? the yard didn't say i would but normally when you register for something, you get a confirmation.

It is amazing how close old Ironballs actually was to the real release.
I think the DF will go quick but not quite as fast as the SS4 with all the INFI fanatics.

Magnum22 - I suspect that some people will be slow to post until they have a Scrap Yard knife ordered or in their possession. That, and the fact that I was new to computers are the main reasons I never posted a lot over at the Swamp when they arrived on the scene. To any "lurkers" I would say ----
