n. i'm a corporate type. going to Maui with the family around vet's day again this year, which should be nice.

btw, i didn't stay the night in the valley back in 2002 - drove from Davis in the morning, did half dome, drove home that night.

Good for you. That's what... about 10,000 feet of elevation change, and about 19 miles (depending upon where you start the trail)? You must be in decent shape.

haven't heard anyone here mention they're driving, but there's probably chatter over on BF. motels are still available and aren't bad ($74) which can be split. We'll see about "souvenirs" when I get there, but I intend to be somewhat frugal.

Hopefully things are light and cheery for all regardless. How's the new blog site going? I've enjoyed it and sent the link to a few folks.

I haven't done anything with the blog in a few weeks, partly because of stuff going on in my life, and partly because I want to move the blog to my own website. There will be more, though. Lots more.

I saw the birthday photos of the peak hike. didn't see any others, but i haven't checked into your photo thread in a week, since most of my viewing is usually from a mobile device which doesn't do your photos justice.
