There's a mythical notion that professional photographers spend a lot of time post-processing pictures. The reality is that professionals want to spend as little time and labor on post-processing as possible, and it is almost always quicker and easier to get it right, in camera, than to fix it after the fact.

Focus stacking the roundleaf sundew turned out to be far more complicated than I expected. I didn't really notice, at the time when I was making my focus stacked exposures, but the plant was moving quickly enough, between frames, that the pictures didn't perfectly align.

no doubt that what you do is magical - and you can't add magic afterward. it's great to see you back around, btw. looking forward to more down the road.

i'd better call it a night - i need to be at work in 7.5 hrs.

hey guys. ordered a new helmet today. doesn't really match my bike but it was on closeout for $95 shipped and my helmet was pretty old. can't afford another shoei right now, either. that's busse priced (but not head and shoulders above the rest of the industry, like busse).
