the new harley tipped over in a parking space, car was rear ended a few hours later, forgot my gym sneakers, and scraped up my new phone real good.
at least the knife was a success, it wasn't the new car i was considering gettin, and it wasn't the phone that woulda cost me money. arnold used to lift in his socks, so i tried that today and got yelled at.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad day.
Back when I used to go to the gym and weight lift, I would do it barefoot. The gym had a rule that you had to wear shoes, but I can't stand having my feet covered, and never wear shoes. I must say that I think their "safety" reasoning sounded pretty foolish to me. If a few hundred pounds of iron get dropped on my foot, I don't think a pair of soft leather sneakers is going to make any difference.
