I still like the BATAC though and I might use it like a project blade

Hi Vic, Jason was asking about how the BRKT wood handles felt earlier. I know you have more of them than I do.

Well, they are all smooth, but some feel better to me than others. Wood has been used a long time for handles and it works well. I like the coffin shaped ones on my Bowies a lot. On the other hand, I had to let my micarta handled Fox River Magnum go because the handle just didn't fit me. My soon to be 18 year old daughter claimed it. I think handle shape and size are as important as handle material for a good grip. While they aren't pretty, the Res C handles seem to work great for me, even when wet. I especially like the mudders.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

The BATAC never appealed to me, although I really like the SJTAC. The extra blade length is more in proportion with the handle size.

Vic told me the RMD was better than the BATAC and I'm really glad I listened. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I can be stubborn at times <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

I think I probably said that I preferred the RMD to the BATAC. There is no way SR101 is better than INFI.

I couldn't agree more about Res-C. Although, I do find it to be more attractive in tan than in black -- in black, it looks like cheap rubber or kraton.

Jumping back to the VetDayGanzaaa, I wonder if those page 13 knives are considered military overruns -- those are usually priced slightly less than normal civilian blades and I typically like them much better. Those Cupidganza FBM overruns were truly outstanding.

I mustn't forget that my SoD order might hit on this billing cycle when I'm deciding how much VetDayGanzaaa participation I can afford.

I like page 14 the most.

I'm always at work when they start so I don't get too into the ganzaa's. I was off for one of them, where they had the T-rex scales on satin FMB, ASH, SJTACs and a few others, all matching. I was so close to going for one of the SJTACS but they were just to pretty to beat on and way to loud to take anywhere

That Moss Hell Razor on page 14 is pretty nice. The partially serrated SJTAC doesn't do it for me though -- it's just not right.
