It also seems that no matter how much the taxpayers keep throwing at the market, it continues to fold.

That knife is certainly not pretty, but I bet it would work well. I've been tempted just because I think it's a bargain, but I won't loose any sleep if they disappear before I decide to place that order.

I don't mind recurves but the serrations really don't do anything for me. I'll keep my serrations on a second folder.

Handle materials can add a lot to the price (I really like the Mammoth Tooth, but haven't been willing to pay for it), but G10, even G-rex type, shouldn't be a huge cost. I don't think I've ever seen a G-rex on something that doesn't have a satin or double-cut blade, and that seems to add a lot to INFI prices regardless of what kind of handles you get.

I'm happy just getting the SODs that I ordered. A one of a kind Busse will add to any collection tho...hmmm...

It occurs to me that Busse Combat may not be willing to copy a Swamp Rat knife -- they're family, but are also fairly stringent about maintaining separate identities between companies.

I would think so too... They are family, but different companies. That's why they don't want you calling busse's number with swamprat or Scaryard questions.

that and the whole talon hole issue, though I don't really mind the talon holes on the larger knives. I think you could replace the "trigger" with a talon hole without changing the ergos much as long as you kept the choil the same size
