I've always thought that was probably a gift to Scrap Yard to help generate some Hog interest. I don't have the slightest idea if they were as limited as the INFIcoot release though. Aside from folks who probably bought SS4s speculatively at release prices, people tend to keep them; I've seen the number for sale fall quite a bit over the last year.

Private Klink was kind enough to proxy 5 of them for me. One of them was #60, and then I bought two BDLEs and got a #60 there too. That's why I'm hoping to be in position to become JYD #60.

As I recall, I've got MPLEs #53, 54, 55, 60, and 61 and BDLEs #59 and 60.

I like the MPLEs better than the BDLEs, but I say that without having actually used either of them -- I've just held them and stored them in their plastic sleeves.

I prefer the appearance of the MP choil, but I'd blunt the choil/blade junction a bit if I wanted to use it as a finger grip. Even though your grip tends to pull the index finger away from that sharp corner, why take chances? The SS4 choil is more comfortable, but it's also larger, so you loose cutting edge for it. I think the MP's choil was a compromise between a full choil like the SS4 and one of those mini-choils like the YK.
