i'm usually on here in the mornings. who do you think does the best kydex?

all this waiting! SOD's, NMSFNO's, Mules, and now an SS4.

I have a lot of knives, but not very many sheaths. Perhaps this statment will be ignorant, but I don't feel that the maker of a Kydex sheath is as critical as leather. I've got an Okeden and a Buy Brown, both of which are quite nice. I'm sure Jeff (Rainwalker) makes great Kydex; he has a very strong customer satisfaction attitude and is a great guy, but I don't have any of his work yet. I hate to talk bad about the yard, but the first position stuff I've gotten has been universally too tight. I've got a Mashed Cat (what they sell out of the Busse Company Store) that came with the Scotch Dispenser I recently bought -- it's quite nice. I had one made at the Indy 1500 (while you wait) -- they weren't really set up to do something as big as a FFFBM; I was a bit disappointed, though it works OK (they finger-pinched along the spine so that it has a ripple instead of being smooth and factory-like).

My recommendation would be to contact Jeff and see if he can deliver when you need it -- he's the main sheath man in the Yard, but he's pretty busy right now. However, I think kydex is faster to make, so he might be able to squeeze you in.

I'm usually at work, but have today and tomorrow off. Speaking of tomorrow, I still don't see VetDayGanzaaa prices posted. Maybe tonight...

I passed on a couple auctions for MMHW knives I'd been scoping, and there's that RMD I saw last night. Until I know my 'ganza plans, just about all other purchases are on-hold.

I feel very satisfied at the moment. The only thing that really calls my name is that Hell Razor, and I know I don't need it.
