Yep; that's the one -- I already have one of the Desert Sages, as well as a #2 (black w/ black & tan G10). So, I don't need it, but it's priced $25 less than the 'ganza price (plus shipping's included) and I do love a bargain.

Speaking of Canadian money... just some months ago they were worth more than USD. Now its back down there... Imagine getting a good amount of knives in Canada back then?

JYD #84 This is my rifle, and that is my SHTF Busse knife.

Hypothetically speaking, I would say it was too late!

Part of the problem with the USPS postal money orders is that the local post office gives a horrible rate of exchange on them.

I have been needing to get rid of some blades lately due to other new toys & I am taking advantage of the exchange rate so that both sides win in the deals.

I think Vic's right; we tend to think that foreigner's are happier because they worry about different things. In the US, we sweat details, we attempt to control things (whether or not they're controllable), and we tend accelerate the pace of our lives in ways that nobody else but the Japanese seem to.

I'm one of those personalities who almost never seems happy because I'm always worried about about a series of things that may go wrong (but almost never do). I've got to have a plan, at least one contingency plan, and an exit strategy for just about everything I do. On the rare occasions when I run out of things to worry about, I really panic because I obviously don't know enough about what's going on to recognize what I should be worried about.

Hypothetical congrats (although BF doesn't indicate that's the case yet). Tyger75 listed several payment alternatives; for future reference, since USPS MO isn't very good, what is the preferred medium?

I do prefer Paypal actually. I don't agree with a lot of their decisions and beliefs, however they offer the best service at this point. I locked that thread so it wouldn't come back up.

If the people in poorer countries are happier, why are they flocking here?

hype. same reason people buy striders.

i'm not talking about the starving, they're just not wealthy.

So it is all just hype? Do you really believe that millions have not actually bettered their lives by coming here? Sure, some have been victimized and become gangsters or prostitutes, but many have made productive lives for themselves and their families here. There is nothing wrong with freedom, but we often make bad choices. At least that is the way I see it. We are not forced to live as mindless consumers of junk and victims of every fad and whim. We can choose otherwise. I like having the choices and opportunities, even if I do screw things up sometimes.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Since you failed to properly disclaim your initial post, the Yard lawyers will be in touch shortly regarding your agitation of the Yard.
