momaw makes me feel good about my long bow. Momaw makes me feel good about my recurve. I have recently bought alot of new gear for my bow, I feel like I should be running around Sherwood forest.

Richmond VA area. I just moved here so I don't know all the little town and crossroads and subdivisions but one of the guys at work said that the area its been seen the most is right over the river from where I live in Midlothian. I've heard a lot about people seeing it on the radio, but nobody has said anything about it killing anything. Do you think they'd eat feral cats? they probably aren't easy to catch. I don't know what she's eating. there is a female tiger loose right around here Really? Where? Come out, come out, where ever you are!

Ok, after talking to some more people and looking around, I've shifted from subcompact handguns to compact and maybe even a standard.
I have no idea why they don't make a compact XD9, so I'm still considering that subcompact until I see how it feels.
The new ones I'm looking at are the G19 (compact), CZ P01 (compact), and CZ 75 SP-01 (standard). I hope I get to check them all out before I make a decision, but I might not have a choice if everybody is out of stock.

if you get a CZ I would recommend either the stainless or polycoat finishes. I have a gloss blue CZ85B and it shoots good and looks good, but that finish(gloss blue) isn't corrosion resistant enough for a primary carry gun. It sure is pretty though, like a black mirror polish.
They might have changed the trigger some, but the 75B and 85B have a lot of take-up in single action if that matters to you. I imagine that the take-up is what actuates the firing pin block. But like I said, they might have changed this in the P-01 design(I really doubt it though).

There's a 3" XD9 (subcompact, small) and 4" XD9 (standard, large), but no 4" XD9 (compact, medium).
