This is the SAK that I picked up awhile ago. I was told that it's 1980's era
military issue, but that's just what I was told.

Dave your SAK is called a GAK, German Army Knife. It's one of the 108mm knives and they are climbing in value every year. A nice 108 GAK will bring $35-$40 right now.

There is a 111mm GAK as well. That is the knife that VANCE has that he posted a picture of. It is still be made and it took the 108 GAKs place. Both knives are referred to as Bundswehr models.

I picked up several Wenger Evolutions at auction today and am interested in holding one. Tolly any experience with them? I think they are the basic ones.

You'll like them. They feel good in the hand.

i don't have the red or black cadets because i have the red and black pioneers. the pioneer and adventurer are my favorite widely available models. also close to my heart are my yellow huntsman and the rally.
