Ah...ok, I thought they were both called TimeKeeper. The grey one I have has more tools. I also saw now they have a newer model with even more tools, including a flashlight!

Do you have more than one Andy? How many batteries do you need? Do you need any other replacement parts? Toothpicks, tweezers, etc....

How about you Vic, need any replacement parts for your SAKs? I've got drawers full of them?

Yeah, I have the ones shown above. That's my SAK collection. Not including my 2 paring knives. Right now I just need 1 battery. One has a more scratched LCD than the others, so I use it for my user. I didn't want to use one of my backups that have a nicer screen, or rob the batteries from them. I think I'm ok on tweezers/toothpicks, thanks.

I should have known! I lost the toothpick out of my Recruit. Not worth the shipping charges to replace. If I get another SAK from you, you can add the toothpick then.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Hi Dave, what's up in Canuk land? What exactly is a "Canuk" anyway?

a Canuck is a beer swilling, bacon eating, hockey playing, toque wearing tough sonofagun that was born and raised in Canada

Well Vic, the guy on the right side looks like someone who would likely
take off through the bush at night for a little stroll with his flashlights

Tolly, I would have to say a Canuck is a member of the Vancouver hockey team
However, Wikipedia attributes it to you Americans being not able to pronounce
a couple of French words properly.

According to Bart Bandy’'s Lexicon of Canadian Etymology (Don Mills, Ont., C. Farquharson, 1994), the term evolved from the French word canule around the time of the American Revolution; but its path of evolution is still not clear. The most likely possibility is that it rose from a mispronunciation among Benedict Arnold’s forces as they laid siege to Quebec in the winter of 1776. According to Bandy, the comte de Theleme-Menteuse was one of the locals captured by the ragtag Americans. In his Contes bizarre d’Isle (sic) d’Orleans, the latter says that the Americans picked up the common phrase "Quelle canule," but they were usually shivering so hard when they said it that it came out with the "l" hardened into a glottal stop – thence a "k."

I knew a guy who tried to pronounce a French word and he nearly choked! Both my daughters took French in HS and they would speak it to each other when they didn't want me to know what they were talking about. It is by nature a subversive language! Just kidding. English uses and misuses so many French words, it's not even Germanic anymore!
