What up MC?
Yeah, ever since I saw those on the Bravo1 I had to have at least one knife with 'em.

Look what happened to my Golok!!!!!!

It was cutting great through 1" branches, one swing. Then all of a sudden I noticed what looked like a demi-circle shaped spot on my edge.
Wait, that's not a spot!
NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh well, good thing is I still love the Golok. It was chopping like the tree was made of butter. Sweetest feeling ever.

I dinged up my edge some, but nothing that big. I could just sharpen it out. 1095 will chip on occasion, especially as thin as Mike grinds those edges.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Wazzup Vic!

I was chopping through a green mesquite. It was making short work of it, the wood was rather soft.

Be advised that Mike and BRK&T are busier than a one-legged man at an [censored]-kicking contest! I'm STILL waiting for my customized R/S to return to me!

That did concern me a bit, those edges are almost paper thin it seems.

What up Lazi? Going for JYD?

I say you can knock it out in a few months.

I slightly rolled an edge on a knot in some hard maple once and chipped a small amount near the tip when I hit a rock while chopping low. I redid the edge to a less acute angle and it has been fine ever since. Of course, the blade is now about 1/16" narrower.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
