I screwed up this weekend. I was spraying paint on the eaves of my shop and garage. The spray went through a few cracks and landed on my truck. Now, my red truck has flecks of gray paint all over it. Luckily, it's latex based paint so it should only last a year or so.

that sucks. i know i'd be pissed.

Julie, the blonde, was getting pretty desperate for money. She decided to go to the nicer, richer neighborhoods around town and look for odd jobs as a handy woman.
The first house she came to, a man answered the door and told Julie,
"Yeah, I have a job for you. How would you like to paint the porch?" "Sure, that sounds great!" said Julie.
"Well, how much do you want me to pay you?" asked the man.
"Is fifty bucks all right?" Julie asked.
"Yeah, great. You'll find the paint and ladders you'll need in the garage."
The man went back into his house to his wife who had been listening. "Fifty bucks! Does she know the porch goes all the way around the house?" asked the wife.
"Well, she must, she was standing right on it!" her husband replied.
About 45 minutes later, Julie knocked on the door. "I'm all finished," she told the surprised homeowner. The man was amazed.
"You painted the whole porch?" "Yeah," Julie replied, "I even had some paint left, so I put on two coats!" The man reached into his wallet to pay Julie.

"Oh, and by the way," said Julie, "That's not a Porch, it's a Ferrari."

i know they will come back with a killer edge but this pain of them being out of my hands is unbearable! WOE IS ME!!! tonight will be a howling at the moon night!

Man I'm the same way, its odd how an inanimate object can become a part of you.

Well I shot the Glock 36 today, and I must admit that I was really impressed. The pistol fits my hand, reliable, and accurate. I think the 36 might become my summer carry piece.

I was painting a barn/shed out at the ranch one day. Had a gallon of latex paint up on the ladder, stong Texas winds blew the ladder over and when the paint spilled it was blown down the whole side of the truck. I hauled butt to town, the wind drying the paint to the quater wash. Most of it blasted off. I think my saving grace was the dirt on the truck kept the paint from sticking much.

Yikes! That sucks snotpig. Any chance you had a good coat of carnuba wax on there? Should be able to clean it off fairly easily if that is the case.
