Had an accomplishing night. Got my drill press put together and adjusted. Seems decent for a Canadian Tire special. Then I put the new bike chocks together. Took the last day off from refinishing the trailer, but I may tackle it some more tomorrow. Amazing what a wire wheel and some tremclad can do! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

meh.....I HAD planned to go all out this weekend, hitting one wilderness area after another every day, doing some placer sampling for a fellow gold hound, and going to the Island to hike and have BBQ with Pitman, family and the dogs, but dman if my finances are right down to nuttin! I have always wanted to gold prospecting. A few years ago I caught a show on the Outdoor Channel called Gold Fever, and it looks fun especially when gold is found. The thing is in OK there is no real sources for gold unless it is in the form of lost caches of Indian payment, stolen gov't payroll from the old west days, or coins not turned in to Roosevelt.

Seeing all that stuff racked up makes my fingers itch to be examining it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Looks like some excellent sturdy storage. Nice, I could use something like that. To be honest, if I had something like that I would be forced to go through my gear and sort it, keep some, and then sell some.

Looking back through a day that I missed and you guys talk about one of my favorite type of weapons--a wheel gun.
I need a good .22lr revolver. I can not make my mind up on the following:
S&W K22/17 with 6" brl
S&W 22/32 Kit Gun with 3" brl
Colt Scout with a 4 5/8" brl with the mag cylinder
Ruger Single Six with a 6 1/2" brl and mag cylinder
USFA SAA 12/22 with 7 1/2" 12 rd cylinder
Too many options.

Plus you don't have to hunt for your brass! That is a big plus in my book. I hate chasing brass in grass. A few years back I was looking for my brass during a p-dog hunt, and right in front of me was a small rattler <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />--need to say the rattler did not last long once I hit it with a couple shots of 357 mag. After I returned home I bought a brass catcher, works most of the time but I don't have to chase brass now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
