it's the 417. if you were aware of the 416, this is that chambered for 7.62 x 51.

Now that 5.56mm has got up there with the 5.7 rd, I can see doing it. I have not read a lot on them but seem to be getting favorable reviews.

I had a great-uncle who was 82nd AB in WWII. He was in before WWII started and went through all the major jumps. He loved the Tommy Gun even though it was heavier but never cared for the Grease Gun. Said if he wanted that he would have went to motor pool LOL....and that is coming from a guy that jumped out of perfectly good planes.

Got to love those calls. Every once in a while I will pull something like that on a friend. Thing is caller ID ruins it.
