here's one. i was learning some new sweep shapes and played em slow together, decided to record something.
if i did this again i would leave out that high note in every second round of the main motif.
if you don't like instrumental rock, don't bother.

by the way i do these in my bedroom and i get impatient controlling both the computer and guitars/amps so i will often just keep the first take, even if it isn't perfect. i'd love to go to a studio and put down 40 takes and keep the best one.

here's a similar piece, but more of a composition than just a recording. composed as i recorded. still pretty rough, but at least this one has a title. there are a few things i'd change on this one too.

I wasn't paying attention, and some dude trying to crown surf came down foot first on my head. Good thing I was drunk. Other than that, there was the usual elbows and whatnot. It was fun though. I always like a good show.

oh yeah. took a good elbow to the teeth at the metallica concert in philly a couple months ago.
that was a great show. i was on the rail right in front of the mic and caught two picks. fine the next day, luckily.
