Great job on the Dogfather roll out guys. It seems like everyone who wanted one bad enough to be here got one. You and Patti deserve a few days off, after the shipping of course!
I have a couple of questions
1: what is going to be the next from the yard? I vote for a PBF.
2:Did you make yourself a different one like last time?
3:If you did have you accidentally sold it?
4: How many DF's are there?
5: What should we call the Busse extended family? Saying and typing "Busse, swamprat and Scrapyard" is a bit wearing.

Thank you for making not just a knife but a community that I am glad to be a part of.

Here goes:

1. The Dog Father LE will be next
2. There was no time to make a different or unique prototype knife.
3. I couldn't have sold it since I didn't make it
4. There are still a few DF's in inventory and I will begin the next production run
5. Since the family is orginally from Kentucky, how about ScrapYard Kin

Dan

Scrap Yard Kin.. that's SYK Dan!!

Will there be any Scrapper 6's in between, or after, or somewhere ?

I just need *ONE* S6 (standard coated) to complete my ScrapYard collection!

..so if you happen to have one just lying around.. I'll Take It! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Does this mean the Dog Father isn't sterile?

It isn't on the knives page and the product description in the store doesn't mention the logo.

If they were all made the same way does that mean they all have the logo?

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

I love it "the Scrapyard kin"!
I should have realized that the LE was next, Duh!
Anyone else think Dan should make himself an extra special LE version?
Paul what is it like being a bowie fanatic in Britain nowadys? I read somewhere the "Bobby's" went nutz over some poor star trek fans Battleth?
I like that the bowie is sterile(or nuetered) it makes it more bad and menacing.
Sometimes I think we have it pretty good in canada ,we have US freedoms and British medicade and social programs. Now if this global warming they have been promising would hurry up and do something about the [censored] weather we would be set.
It is a warm one today only -20.

Christ I think the Bobby's would freak if they saw what I had in the way of knives and guns.

In this country the only gun involved in a burglary is taken by the criminal.. The Police don't have easy access to them and if (God forbid) YOU hurt a poor criminal you get jail time (Google 'Tony Martin'). Totally crazy...

That's why I love living in my homestate of Florida. I simply have to feel threatened by you then it's skies the limit when it comes to defending myself. Plus if it's ruled justifiable then I have civil protection as well.

I do feel bad for the folks in the UK and other places like it. Laws like that have only served the criminals and haven't done squat for the average law abiding citizen.
