not much. Got to experience total brake failure today on the 5 ton, on a 15% hill, with about 30 children at the bottom.

I was outside the truck, engine was OFF, truck was in Reverse gear, (as per S.O.P. when truck facing downwards on a hill) ) plus the driveshaft brake was engaged. i was opening the tailgate on the 3 tons of dirt i was about to dump.

POP! i heard i and just reacted. The sound of the driveshaft brake cable SNAPPING. Now one would think the trany being in reverse gear would prevent the truck form rolling......

yea....no.....\

The weight of the dirt load and the lack of a parking brake made the truck roll, slipping the clutch. Truck rolled about ten feet towards the kids, (down the HILL).

I just reacted. leapt from the back of the truck to the middle and UP into the cab, Jamming my foot on the power brake. Truck rolled several more feet before stopping.

the client was pure white and shaking. I kept it together until i restarted the truck and dumped the dirt, and then drove away. I stopped and tossed my cookies, the adrenaline overwhelming me.

That sounds like a scare! Glad you have good reflexes!

i never liked this thing...but tonight it's kinda attractive. kinda like the day i started likin redheads.

I got to shoot one once at the range, and I was impressed. The carbine was set up for a lefty so I got to experience the empties flying in fornt of my face--gave me a idea what lefties put up with most of the time.

Anyway, the carbine was avvurate but it did have an Aimpoint clone on top--hey it worked and the 9mm recoil is a non-issue in this carbine. The only down side was the weight, which wasn't bad but a lot heavier than the Kel-Tec foldiing carbine.
