I have a bunch of Fenix lights around and have basically stopped searching. That new 5.11 light with the instacharge system is fascinating though.

any particular recommendation?

Nice lights. I'm really getting temped by the Fenix TK40. It runs on AA batts and it is adjustable from 15 to 630 lumens! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> Run time is 2 to 150 hours.

Only downside is it's $150. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I've got a bunch of their stuff around here too. To call my music interest eclectic would be an understatement... Pretty much everything is around... Loads of Frank Zappa and Satriani, heck I don't think I could list a tenth of what I listen to.

For relatively small, the p3d is an amazing piece. I actually edc one beside my wallet. You have NO idea how handy it is to have a light until you carry it. CR123 cells can seem expensive at first, however I recommend the titanium brand from battery junction. Great cell life, great price. I go through a lot of them during the winter months. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
