I couldn't find the pictures because I didn't want to spend so much time messing with the search option. The search brings up 200 results, many of them repeating from the same threads. So I try messing with the date range "newer then" "older then" and it comes up with no search. I believe it was Jim who bought on in every color.

Words cannot express how relieved I am that the Yard did not exist during my college years. It was bad enough that beer existed. Then again, empty beer cases were a great building material!

If memory serves me, HP's aquisition of Compaq can show an interesting consequence of competitor buyout.

i dunno how i never got into drinkin in college. i had a couple nights when i got pretty drunk and i didn't drink at all in grad school.

never once tried weed, either.

takeovers, outsourcing, automating, constant quality improvement, and complimentary products (ink) have been very good to HP but these days, the biggest factor for success is service. warranty and customer care is the hallmark of all the best companies around.

Good points guys, and all things we've already done. This paper is for my graduating senior class and we have a group of 5 people. So we're really breaking them down. Corporate Strategy is just one tiny subject in this semester long project. This is the last piece of the paper, and I'm talking about their more recent merges and acquisitions. They're integrating with Colubris Networks and EDS to compete with Cisco and IBM.
