Flat-land entertainment? Get a pickup, some folding tables, some rifles, and a guy with a telescope, and shoot prairie dogs? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
(I think I'll stick with hills and mountains and trees!) Sounds fun to me. It really is. The sun rises are beautiful, the sunsets are beautiful, break in the afternoon for lunch and enjoy some great BS time, you get to see all kind of flora and fawna, get away from civilization, no cell phones, good cigar, oh I can go on!

I kinda had to get caught up today too. My laptop power cord shorted out and I ran the battery all the way dead. It is under warranty so it is going back for repair since there is a couple other issues too. Anyway, I am borrowing my pops Apple Notebook, sure do like the weight and battery life but I got to get used to the different os--and smaller screen.

Yeah, I will make it out there for at least a couple shoot sessions. By the end of July, the little buggers have conditioned themselves to humans and the sounds of rifle fire. P-dogs are not the smartedt but they do learn. Some mornings I will sit and drink a cup of coffee or tea and listen to them bark back and forth. The p-dogs do have a form of language for different things like a bird closing in,etc. I can be fun just watching and listening to them--until you realize that they are rats! Then it is on!

The area that I go to now is in the western and panhandle part of OK. I applied for a job about 30 miles from Ft. Sill, OK. If I get it I will be in the sw part of the state where a lot of the p-dog towns will be only a 30 minute drive instead of 4 hrs. If that happens the increase in pay will be seen in the form of powder, bullets, primers and a big brown truck making steady deliveries!
