Well I got a speeding ticket on the way home, so that throws a wrench in it for now.. But I'll let you know...

It's my day off too.. Just ate me some Pizza!

I wish someone would buy that tanker...

I got a ticket back in january on a sunday morning. I pull over, the officer starts busting my balls about the speed zone. I tell him that the speed limit was 40 mph the night before and he tells me it was changed that morning--this is at 7:30 A.M. I then tell him that I have a CCW permit, a .45 acp on my hips, and 3 Class III items in the car with me. He then asks me to remove my pistol, and I refused because I did not want to get shot, and I don't have to by law. Anyway, long story short he tried to get me on anything he could. All was dropped except the speeding ticket--should have fought that too

I bought some good stuff from Himalayan Imports today, but spent money I didn't plan to:

[Linked Image from public.pc-servicecenter.com]

I got the first and second knives as well as the last one on the bottom row. They are:
1) A 18 1/8-in OAL 42-ounce model they call a Panuti farmer special knife,
2) A 15-inch OAL 24-ounce D-1, and a
3) A 10-inch OAL 13-ounce JKM-1

This after I bought an 18-inch 24-ounce Malla khukri and a chance on an HI katana with a silver scabbard inlaid with coral and turquoise just a couple days ago. Those raffle tickets aren't selling nearly as fast as they have in the past -- I think the economy is making people cut back. I haven't been doing so well at rebuilding my savings buffer, but there seem to be lots of good deals lately.

Pics like that make me want a good Kuhkri.

If you run across a 1911/2011 in 9mm let me know then.

Nice blades Jim, they are massive!

Will do. What part of TX are you in? A friend mentioned running to the Market Hall show in Dallas this sat. If we do, I will keep an eye out for you.

SUmo, that situation with the cop blows....

I'm surprised he didn't get all crazy when you did not remove your gun.

What do you mean you didn't want to get shot though?

Enjoy every sandwich.

I could tell he was a newbie on the force, he was all fidgitiy, and I could just see me reaching for a pistol and him drilling me with a .40 cal. Glock--that is what they issue to OKC, OK officers.

I kept my hands visable at all times, as when I drive I always have my wallet in the cup holder/change holder.

I just heard more depressing news. Already reviled for being old, a smoker, a meat eater, a shooter, a biker, a Christian, a patriot, and fat, now I find out that I am causing global warming. All by myself. Soon they will surely gather us all in and turn us into Soylent Green.

Vic - you're going to have to quit eating all those beans and causing air-pollution and global warming! ...................
