Wow, bold words.
The DF is a great knife from all accounts. It all depends on what you are looking for. I do want to get a DF one of these days, but the NMSFNO will probably never be at this price again.

I have a DFCG and a DFLE,they are fantastic.
My LE,well,that is one knife I dont think I could ever get rid of.
and cost wise,sheesh,you cant beat the price even on the secondary market.
Mucho bang for the buck.
