Is it even safe to cut with the "cheapo" katanas?
The real one is suppose to be hand forged, folded many times and heat treated.

A very good friend of mine has a Bumon Katana that is Gorgeous!!!!!!! Can you say $5,000 piece of S-7? It has a very highly polished blade with a beautiful hamon line.

Just to put the money we spend on knives in perspective,I saw this 176 million dollar yacht last weekend. This picture doesnt show much of it but just google (Maltese Falcon Yacht}.
