Where have all you guys been buying these HCLEs? It seems like a rash of them are hitting the market now

Dunno, I got mine from some dude on B/F trade section. I looked at my Dejavoo and decided I didn't want it, and found a guy who wanted to trade.

So I traded my Dejavoo and a Rat-1 for it.

Clint, I will get some up in a few. I'll go take some now! BRB

Enjoy every sandwich.

Anyone have any good marinade recipes or dry rub recipes to share?

I never make them from a recipe, always make it up as I go, and go by taste.
What general ingredients do you use?

All kinds of stuff - I buy these big plastic tubs full of spices from the farmer's market, and have probably 20 of them in the cabinet. I start grabbing stuff and mixing it together until it smells good. No two are ever alike.

In general, one of my favorite things to do is start with a brown sugar base, and add stuff from there to spice it up. Red pepper, chili powder, cayenne, and so on usually provide some kick, and then various other herbs round it out.

An important thing to keep in mind with dry rubs is to avoid over-doing the salt. Some people put lots of salt in a dry rub, and it ends up dominating all the other flavors.

Tonight I'll be eating some left-over stir fry I made last night - squash, bell peppers, bean sprouts, spinach, carrots, and chicken. All over brown rice. Yum.
