I don't know about the rest of you, but I will breathe a sigh of relief when Dan and Patti show up here again. It isn't about how soon the Dog Fathers will ship. It's about making sure that everybody's OK in the Busse household.
Yep. The waiting is not comfortable is it?

I hope everybody is OK but would like to know when the DF will ship?
I am not in any hurry but I would like to be kept in the loop as to when it will happen.

I am not trying to rush them at all I would just like an aproximate time.
Like if they said it will take 2 weeks to get all the personal stuff done and another week or two to get them out I would be fine with that. Mostly I just want to hear that everyone is OK. I was quite surprised at how upset I got when I heard about this emergency. I have never met anyone involved but it felt like a close friend had been hurt. I know it was silly but I felt like I deserved constant updates like it was my own family.

Honestly, as much as I would love to have a Dog Father in hand, I can wait. I have been through enough family emergencies of my own that I understand completely. When someone close to you is sick or injured everything else becomes of secondary importance. Knives can wait, family cannot.

In a way, I feel like I am a part of the Busse family, as are the rest of you on these forums. I don't post a heck of a lot, but I read most posts and I think that we are a family of sorts. Look at the way forumites support each other. Isn't that what family does? Well right now some of our family is tied up with a very real crisis of their own. There is not much we can do to help except to express our concern, our love and our support.

Family first. Always and forever.

To Patti and Dan: I'm relieved for you that your child is doing better. Nothing compares to taking care of family. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.

Absolutely. I'd give up a hundred DFs for Dan and Patti's child to be okay. And I think that goes for all of us.

After 5 very harrowing days and nights in the intensive care unit, one of Dan and Patti's children will be returning home from the hospital.

Our entire family greatly appreciates your prayers and thoughts during this time.

Soon, all will be well and Dan and Patti will be back on top of the situation here at the Yard.

Before you know it, you'll all be knee deep in Dog Fathers . . . . .

Thanks again for your patience and understanding during this time. . .

Jerry

Dog's, Your thoughts and prayers have meant so much to Patti and I

Once the last Dog Father ships, I will be using my Dog Father as a stress management tool. I am going to chop the living day lights out of log that has my name all over it. Heaven help the object of my Dog Fathers attention

Indebted to the Yard
Dan
