I have an old wooden bookshelf that I want to throw away, but in its current dimensions and weight, it'd be hard to move through the door, let alone down the stairs. This is where the Dog Father will come in... gonna chop the thing into planks or little piece for easy disposal! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> I got to destroy some furnature that I hated some weeks ago. It was wonderful! First, I started with putting some drinks on them without coasters, I personally think that was the best part. Next was te key toss without fear of what would happen when I tossed them. Finally I went all Conan on the thing with my scrapper 6 abd Ranger RD-7. Peace Jerry

Zeronine...There was a company called Cen-Dex that made holsters from a clear from of kydex..I dont remember what it was called though hmm tell ya what...you get me a couple pieces and I will hook ya up with a sheath at cost! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> yea I like that idea as well!!! I would jump on this offer in a heart beat, but I have no idea how to get my hands on this type of material, let alone regular kydex. I'm a knife collector/user, not a craftsman. Any takers out there with some connections and since of adventure? I would love to see a clear material sheath of any sorts!! I did a Google and found several references. After that I am lost, thickness size, blah, blah, blah. Jerrwhy, you need to start a thread on MST3K here. Seems like there is at least 4 of us freaks here. I have boat load of old episodes on dusty VHS. I will have to review again.

I really miss that show. I loved the movie. However, my favorite episode either has to be Riding with death (the turkey volume guessing man skit was hilarious), or the Gamera episodes.

You can get specialty kydex in all sorts of coulers and prints. It is used for all sorts of industrial interiors and stuff like paneling in airplanes. I saw some cool woodgrain stuff. It is fairly cheap to. I would like to do my kitchen in it.
The only problem is the minimium order is a huge sheet like the side of a house.
That would be a lot of clear sheaths. The sheath makers here should check it out though they might save some cash on a 10 year supply.

I figure I will ooohh and aaahh over it for a bit, maybe dance around the yard, then start operation "Down with trees" occasionally stopping to laugh evilly! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Ooops, forgot to mention that I plan on following that by staying on the scrap yard page until the next knife run starts and grab one of them too!
