I would not hook it up to my bike until I can confirm 100% which is true and I probably would switch to a different brand battery, hah.

okay guys, help me out here. i was looking at the embossed (+) on the top of the battery. look at this image. the (+) on the top surface is on the left, but on the front the (+) is on the right. what would you do? ![[Linked Image from batteryspec.com]](http://www.batteryspec.com/ecomm/photos/1814.jpg) do you have a voltmeter?

If it was me, I'd go snag a cheap voltmeter hook the red lead to what I thought was the + side and the black lead to the - side. If you get 12 volts the markings were correct, if it shows -12volts, the markings are wrong.
