Of course, I think most of the finish would get worn off after use, so I find myself wondering why I am thinking about the blade color lol.

I have a chance to get a muddy blade Chopweiler. It's been through 2 owners, but the seller says it is never used, never sharpened. That seems strange. Do people really just collect these things and never utilize them? CR: yes they do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> and each to their own, its their knife, their choice. why do some chopweilers have the logo and others don't? Does it mean anything?

yes, that is what they call em. the original dog fathers were sterile. later df's had the logo. i think that's post-new-business-model.
