I love the high street. It's another that came with the ridiculous Busse 35 degree grind angle, but I've touched my girlfriend's orange up and it slices much better. I'm planning to really put a thin convex on my blue one, and decide how well I like the performance of that edge before I do the same to hers.

I think it will be a couple weeks before they start charging.. THey usually do it right before they ship.. YAY! This means I don't have to say goodbye to the SOD LE. Maybe I will sell the CG and keep the LE, after all, I have nice Kydex for the LE.

for anyone who was wondering, i was asking if MM, meaning peasy, was willing to (a) drive down to blade next year and let me ride shotgun, or (b) fly down if we get a good deal on seats.

Yeah I used all factory edges in the chopoff. In some sense, I feel it's only fair - if Busse doesn't feel it's worth their effort to put a workable edge on a knife that costs over 300 bucks, I don't feel it's worth my effort to touch it up before I put it to a test I'm posting publicly <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Very good point.

Sometimes I wish I still had it but I spread the wealth to a friend that had done the same for me on occasion.

I will have to see how long it will take to drive from OK to Blade, and then I will see what a flight will cost. It would be nice to drive because I am sure hotels will be cheaper on out and it makes it nice for sight seeing too. I am hoping my buddy will want to still go that way the drive makes more sense.

I am really leaning on flying down, or leaving a day ahead of time, so we can take our time and get to the Waverly the night before the show (thursday night) and then just drink at the fountain all night.
