Ok, I had never seen this. It has profanity so you've been warned.
Aside from that it is the most hilarious thing I've seen in a long time!

Convexing isn't nearly as hard as freehand sharpening on a stone, but it's still a bit tricky. The trick is to use ridiculously light pressure - otherwise the mouse pad can curl up around and take off the edge you're working so hard on establishing. If you're getting dust on the edge of the blade, you're probably pushing too hard - you want to form a nice wire burr.

I love all forms of comedy, his is stupid funny, but still cracks me up. Haven't seen Land of the Lose, but his movies have been getting worst though.

Same with Jack Black. I loved Nacho Libre but that's cuz I could relate.
Not as Nacho. I grew watching Lucha with my father.
My name was a toss up between Ramses and Arturo.
Don't laugh. Maybe a little.

Thanks for this written description of the process. I am sure that I, for one, would have been pushing too hard while refining the blade without this kind of detailed note.

I'm actually considering swapping out my mouse pad for either some leather or a much stiffer mouse pad. It's really easy to roll over the edge on the one I'm using.

Or I could just hit harbor freight tomorrow and do it the easy way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
