I am pretty wiped out after a long week; I thought I was going to fall asleep on the drive home today. I need to go for a run, which will probably have me comatose afterwards. ditto. I was drifting lanes in the 5ton I was so haggard from the heat, the fumes, the traffic jams. Finally had to stop and go into the truckstop to wash my face with a hot towel and then doused myself in ice water. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I have tried to do some of the lanyard knots before. I have a bunch of paracord, but every knot that I try ends up in a pile when I am done.

I tried the sailor knot. That was simply brutal. I kept looking at online videos and at right about the midway point of the looping I am just staring at the screen saying "what the heck just happened?".

i around... i'm just reading the maxpedition jumbo thread and trying to convince my self to go ahead and snag a sitka first thing tomorrow. i wish there was a place here that carried them. i just like to look at stuff before i buy. i usually know within the fisrt few minutes if i want it. pictures just don't tell the whole story.

I'm probably running to harbor freight tomorrow to at least see if they carry the cheap belt sander - I was working on putting a convex edge on my NMSFNO by hand tonight, and it was just taking too much time. I either need a belt sander or a more efficient method for my hand sanding.
