I felt like taking my DF to my last computer...that thing was so slow and it locked up all the time...it would have done it some good

this is more of a urban pack for me. chunk a bunch of edc stuff in it and grab and go. which is why i'd also want to be able to jam a latop in there. i've been buying a good bit of gear and to sling it over my should or toss it in the trunk... ahh... who am i kidding. i'm getting a stinking man purse!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
i hope to get something bigger and something smaller for more specific uses. I'm a big dude, so that may be why the one-shoulder style didn't work for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> I have the Maxped Colossus and love it for my EDC "man purse". Won't fit a laptop though, so you're on the right track I think. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I used to go to Pink Floyd laser shows in Seattle all the time growing up. I would'nt mind trying out the Colossus one day! what size are you NewDOGma? (height etc)
got BUNDOCK playing on the system......"American Singer" I'm 6'4" about 245 lbs. Not huge, but a bit of a gut... I'm old and have four kids, it's ok, right? Anyway, the one-shoulder backpack just wasn't very comfy. The Colossus IS, however, I love carrying it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
