I'm a big dude, so that may be why the one-shoulder style didn't work for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> i must disagree. getting in and out of the conventional backpack was so much easier when i was a skinny kid. now that i have some meat on my shoulders, the sling is the only way to go without having to feel a stretch. A shoulder strap like on a messenger bag or a Versipack is very comfortable. I'm talking about the tight, backpack sling... it just didn't feel right. I'm lucky to have a shop fairly close that stocks a good selection of Maxped gear... saved me on several nearly bad purchases!

ohhhhh okay. yeah, my jumbo versipack carries everything i need for a day out. i haven't gone camping for a while but i want to make a second 'add on' rig so that i don't have to change things around when i do.
basically looking for a light duffle to carry an ultralight solo tent and my bag. i ordered the thermolite bivvy from adventure medical. should be here monday.
