Thanks MCJ. That was me. I was out wandering around and just decided i wanted to have some fun. First trip out, my camera froze up so i didn't have any photos. Gave me an excuse to go out a second time and try it again!

I just logged in and saw the tent talk last night. For a compact backpacking tent, I have yet to use ANYTHING that beats my REI Quarter Dome - I've used the one-man, but the two man is only slightly heavier and has lots more room. I bought the three man and used it backpacking so my fiance and I could share the tent and still have room for gear and for me to toss and turn. The three-man Quarter Dome T3 is lighter than many one man tents <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> That said, I would be extremely happy if I never camped in a tent again - and in fact, I haven't slept in a tent in well over a year. I've switched to hammocks. Best night's sleep you'll ever get in the woods, plus it's easier to regulate temperature, keep dry, and have a comfortable place to cook your dinner. Hammocks are the holy grail of backpacking!
