Oh, if it was a folder, then yes, I would expect it to snap with a lateral force. They are made to retain a slicing edge above all else, so their steel tends to be quite rigid. Most warranties void if used for prying or other non-slicing utility, Nah, these ZT's are backed up 100%. Doesn't matter what you use it for.

I can see that, retaining the traditional theme. I wanted something different and I have always wanted horn on a blade. I also wanted a truly unique piece, after looking at the pics of the progress I was very impressed with the outcome. Mixing the old with the new, my kind of style!

I am watching the video's and thinking how a SYCO would won these in a chop off. Did anyone else chuckle when he said that he doesn't think any knife or knife steel would survive what is basically being nailed into wood and hit laterally with a baseball bat?
