I agree, but I don't remember seeing anyone actually demonstrate it for anything but chopping/slicing, yet. The transfer of forces into the blade will be a little different in the waki. It might be interesting to baton through some really thick stuff, if you could find something of a suitable density.

Thanks, Simon. I am surprised that my first fixed blade ended up a generic Bussekin versus SYK. I would rather load up on S5, SOD, Dogfather etc., but at aftermarket prices this actually made more sense, for now.
