Actually, they are both S30V and some of the ZTs are frame locks. Personally I like Strider alot more but they cost more. Strider has a better warranty and I am a sucker for that.

The ZTs are opening assisted and that always seems like something that can break or gunk up. Striders are easy to take apart and clean if you do use it to clean a deer etc.

Some folders can't be taken apart to be cleaned...

Strider used to not have a great fit and finsh(qc). But I am/was a Chris Reeve dealer and am personally more impressed with the Striders as a whole. CReeve no doubt has tighter tolerances but Strider has come a long way from where they started and the whole folding prybar and rough complaints are no longer valid.

You haven't seen the crazy posts we've done here when racing to JYD. There will be like ten with the same time. We usually do it with a riddle posting session. Got any? Also, we do random questions like what is your favorite color, etc.

As a side note you can take an Emerson apart with just regular screwdriver and they are alot of knife for the money if you pick one up used.
