Do you think that you would recognize an acknowledgment of your thoughts through changes in their photography? I only ask because there are sure to be some that may be influenced but will not concede an ounce in a public debate.

If they switched from designing pictures by position, for graphical effects, to composing by content, for communication, the difference would be evident, in many cases.

You may be able to view your positive outcome more than be specifically credited for it, in some instances, then.

We shall see. Raising the bar would be wonderful; a rising tide raises all ships.

Explicit acknowledgement carries certain advantages. I don't mean ego stroking – I don't really care about that. But it could carry such advantages as getting well-paying clients for workshops and seminars, getting my pictures and/or my essays published in mbooks on the subject, etc.

Welcome back, MCJ. You are definitely right on that comment. I have seen Alzheimer's up close and personal, and heard some horror stories from my sister, who is a counselor in a retirement community. I have also heard some very funny stories, too.

Did you ever answer my question about your avatar, MCJ: what is that stuff on the cutting board?

My condolences, MC, about seeing your loved one develop dementia.
