Ah, that's OK. We all need a simpler day like that every now and then. How long did it take you to work that edge on the FFBM?

I'm going by the post office this morning to pick up my new Busse High Street..

I actually have to take high street to get to the post office, so that's ironic..

I've sharpened a couple of knives on the sander - I don't tend to mess around with these things, and jump in head first. My first knife on the sander was a ka-bar becker necker. My second was the Muk you sold me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I'll probably hit my High Street first once the new belts come in, then maybe the NMSFNO and the Zilla.



I've been using power tools pretty much since I could walk, including a lot of delicate work like lathes and whatnot, so I tend to completely ignore the "practice on something you don't mind ruining" advice. It USUALLY doesn't come back to bite me in the butt, but once in a while... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
