I just got my new Rainwalker sheath delivered to my work. I know this thread is useless without pictures, but all I can say is.....WOW. This thing is awesome! It's a piggyback DF/DM rig with a swivel, which is absolutely sweet when you consider how many times I have to jump out of my truck when I'm gathering wood. I can't wait to get home and snap some pics for you guys. I don't want to disclose the price I paid for the rig because RW may consider charging more for future setups, but I felt like I got a bargain.

And how cool is it that I got it just days prior to the new DFLE release? It must be an omen that I'm going to be able to get 2 of those things come wednesday.

Pics to come gents.

I wonder if the DFCG sheaths will fit the DFLE's?

Unsub - they should in leather. May be a little loose in a kydex rig.

Here's some of the pictures I promised on the sheath I bought from Rainwalker

The pics don't do it justice

Here's the front, with the 2 beasts beside it

Here's the back view

The next 2 pictures show the range of motion on the swivel. Talk about being more comfortable getting in and out of the truck, as well as just sitting in camp chairs around the fire. Perfect!

Great sheath, great guy, Rainwalker does top notch work at excellent prices. The rest of my sheaths will be made by him.

I can't wait to see how my DFLE's will fit in this rig.

I like swivel sheaths for big knives. The old Western Bowies had them, as do some Ontario and Condor knives. They allow you to strap the the sheath to your leg and the sheath moves with you. Nice sheath, Arkie.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
