No problem Bruce. I figured you were making a little joke and no harm IMO. And don't take offense.... I wasn't trying to rant on you so much as stop future tie-in between Busse & Becker or similar.

I don't have any problem with comparisons and I am confident Busse can do more with 0170-6 than Camillus.

I was mainly pointing out and trying to avoid the "Busse-Becker" tied together comment.

Comparison = fair

Tied together as if in colaboration or similar - not the case.

-------

Also, where am I missing the Busse 0170-6 purchase info ????

How do we know this?

This would be VERY gooooooood!

But, truthfully, the Chopweiler is a slight drop point version of the Ratweiler.

The Ratweiler was a micarta version of the Camp Tramp.

Both the Camp Tramp and Ratweiler were clip points.

So, a Res-C handled Scrap Yard version of the Chopweiler would in effect be a slightly drop pointed version of the Camp Tramp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

.... Somewhere in the ball-park of very similar anyways.

Can't wait to see the new becker/kabar knives.

I like the size of SS4, but not a big fan of the way the mudder handle looks.

To hold a mudder handle is to love it.. It may not be pretty but it is very comfy and allows lots of control.

JYD #3 Poor, but still dreaming of a sage and black SOD CG...

You and me both, KnifeGuy . . . in CG, of course. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

$3.50 for a can of black paint at the store and an easy mod for you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Vs. a lot of time and effort for me to make a CG look decent. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Maybe we just keep hoping for a few of each some CG and some LE. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
