Maybe I gotta see it in person and have it in my hands to feel the love...haha..

If you ever get a chance to buy an SS4, I have to highly recommend!!!!

The DF / DFLE is an awesome 10" chopper and everybody will have their own opinions, but the SS4 is probably my favorite Scrap Yard knife - once I stripped it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Most people who have handled the mudder grips seem to like them... with very few exceptions. But, with everybody having different hands and different preferences, there is never one handle for everyone.

Scroll down and look at the mini RatWeilers, one of these would look good with a Res c Handle...

I wonder if Swamp Rat will actually consider some of those concepts.

Can't wait to see the new becker/kabar knives.
Me too, MRpink. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Might give Rat Cutlery are run for the money.

Hmmmm.... NOPE!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

We'll see, Bruce, BUT I think that in order to compete, Becker will have to get rid of those PLASTIC HANDLES to keep up w/ RAT Cultery's Micarta slabs w/ liners! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Becker will also have to do a LOT with their sheaths to get up to RAT Cutlery standards! Since RAT went from Ontario to their own maker, they're really doing some great stuff. The RC3 is fantastic, and the new sheath systems are either molded or (will) have molded kydex liners!

I can't wait to see the new Becker stuff, though!

I just need to find MORE MONEY!

Money . . . ah yes . . . the REAL reason I love CGs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> For me, you see, the key word in "maximum performance to price ratio" is MAXIMUM!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, its been a while (since the Mutt, I think!) since we've had a knife here that "everyone" can afford...

I'm sure we'll get a few runs of CG's "next." Maybe Dan was so sick of coated blades on military orders that he wanted to make something "Shiney"?

I predict a $60 EDC sized CG in our future...

Where's Karnak???

I hope so, but I am VERY partial to the Concept Rat Jack and Concept Bog Dog II. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Those two would be VERY high on my list. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I actually prefer the new Chopweiler over the older Ratweiler, so if a shorter version were made, I would prefer a shorter version of the Chopweiler.

The original concept link: Concept Rats!!! - Rat Jack & Bog Dog II <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

knifeguy that 15" hacker was exactly what i was thinking of.

Some people might be put of by the size for carrying out in to the woods but it would perfect for me for yard work and brush clearing.

Also the forums zombie killers would have a new weapon in their arsenal.
