I have no idea whether or not Busse got any steel at the Camillus sell off, but it would be a shame to waste good cutlery steel and this is the scrap yard. I heard that there were piles of unfinished knives and steel there. Since Camillus made Beckers and the Cold Steel Carbon V knives, that steel would be a good score. Maybe not as tough as S7, but darned fine steel. It would be ironic if some Scrappers showed up in "Carbon V" and CS can't get it.

knifeguy that 15" hacker was exactly what i was thinking of.
Some people might be put of by the size for carrying out in to the woods but it would perfect for me for yard work and brush clearing.
Also the forums zombie killers would have a new weapon in their arsenal. Yep... All that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Truthfully, it probably couldn't do much more than a good machete... I suppose you might be able to batton with it better. (????) But, it would be MUCH cooler than a machete. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> .
