Boffers are training swords made with pvc pipe covered in foam insulatiion and wrapped in duct tape. There alot of fun to play with out in the yard.
Did you make these yourself? Sounds like fun. How about a pic or would that be classified as a non SY knife and get locked & banned? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

They are a bit dog eared I need to re-tape them actually they are pretty safe. ![[Linked Image from i5.photobucket.com]](http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/mgw906/HPIM0396.jpg) Bors, those look great, I used to love to get out in the back yard with the kids and sword fight (SCA style) with some of those or cut pieces of pool floats. Dice, that's great getting a collection started early. I did that with both my kids. I was glad to finally be able to turn my daughters over to her earlier this year. I didn't have any swords in there though.

Great pics! My 6 yr. old is crazy about knives and swords. I don't know where he gets it from.
The other day he was telling a Santa Clause what he wanted for x-mas. He said he needed a new knife, the Santa replied "thats not a nice gift".
