My father in law has been in the hospital since last Friday afternoon. They finally let him eat broth on Monday. He had sharp stabbing pains in the stomach and the first said that he may have a bad infection and hyatel hernia. They have not told him anything else until last night when my wife and brother in law went to visit him. I asked the nurse to call the doctor who said that he has anemia and it may be diverticulitis or colon cancer. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I am asking for some smoke and prayers that it turns out to be and infection or at least diverticulitis which would be better than the you know what.

I know the feeling. I just received a phone call from my brother back down in Texas, and he called to inform me that my Aunt Sue (Dads sister) passed away yesterday morning. [censored] cancer. Tumor wraped its self around one of her blood vessels and was shuten of the blood flow. Started radiation, then had a heart attack. Her heart just couldn't hold up I guess.
