Kidding aside, how you communicate either verbally or in writing is important. When you enter the job market, your ability to communicate effectively will matter.

I'm 62 years old and I know there is much about grammar and punctuation I still don't know, but I always try to improve. Americans are getting more and more careless about language. If you work at it, you guys can set yourselves apart from the pack.

yeah, your right.I really do actually try to make my spelling and grammar as good as i can.(most of the time)
and i really hate it when people lack enough spelling and grammar that you can't even understand them.
even misspelling of simple words can make people sound really uneducated.
i mean mistakes happen but some people are pretty bad.

and conversation is one of those words i always spell really ridiculous.
